What is Infusion?

Infusion Protocol is a new AMM protocol that facilitates deep and stabilized liquidity on Base. It features a critical time-lock component called “Timefuse” that allows for liquidity to be utilized as an onchain primitive for other DeFi apps to build on. This ensures liquidity is both stable and predictable so it can both support the larger DeFi ecosystem and enrich a wallet’s financial profile with verifiable onchain information that can open doors for Web3 reputation, credit or loyalty. Similar to other AMMs, Infusion allows for the creation of both stable and volatile pools, utilizing an efficient pricing model for stablecoin pools, reminiscent of that of Curve and volatile pools similar to Uniswap v2.

Background

Infusion is a community driven project built on Base, the Layer 2 incubated by Coinbase. Its contributors and advisors come from various DeFi and infrastructure projects including 1inch, Pendle Finance, LI.FI and Thorchain.
